BARK event
I recently volunteered to help with a big event called "the Bark Heard around the World". Is anyone else familiar with it? it is being held at the NY state Fairgrounds in late May. The purpose is for shelters and rescues to come together to raise awareness of the horrors of puppymills. They are suposed to have guest speakers as well as many vendors, booths for shelters and rescues, etc. Here is their link. It is still under construction.....

I want to say that I've heard some mention about it but its one of those things that we just won't be able to attend

Re: BARK event
I just found out AADR will have a booth there this year. One of our members went last year and said the same thing as you..she absolutely loved it and said there was a great turn out

Re BARK event
great!! I did not go last year. I only just learned about it recently. But I definately plan to go this year. My rescue wants to have a booth and I would like to go as a BARK volunteer. I figured those of you down south wouldn't come up for it, but I thought you might find the whole thing interesting. I'll let you know how it goes.
